My 10 Favorite Mounts

In no particular order...

Twilight Drake:  This was my first really "cool" rare mount.  I won it with a role of 100 back when getting the achievement was still hard.  That makes it extra special to me.  I love the deep blue almost purple color.  It's so rich and intense!  With all the new mounts that have been introduced since I still think this is one of the prettiest.

Bronze Drake:  When I first laid eyes on this mount I was like, "Whoa!!  Where'd you get that???"  My best WoW buddy was riding it and we were both the newbiest of the newbs and had no idea such awesome mounts existed.  I just remember wanting this mount so so badly, lol!  I thought once I finally got to level 80 and won this awesome mount I'd never ride anything else.  Anything else being my vast collection of Wyverns, lol.   This mount is gorgeous and quite underrated but I love it most of all for the newbie trip down Memory Lane.  Sometimes it's nice to be able to be amazed by the simple things.

Corrupted Hippogryph:  Love this mount!  The pictures don't do it justice.  It's so pretty and it's even more special to me as it was a birthday present from my awesome boyfriend.  I've only seen on other person with it ever.  Special green-fel colored snowflake!!

Vitreous Stone Drake:  I actually wanted this drake more than the one off Aeonaxx at first.  I love the mix of blues and greens and I love that it dropped for me after only seven Stonecore runs even more!

Azure Cloud Serpent: This is my baby!  I raised him from a hatching and had to grind out tons of quests before he was mine.  I got a little tease and the Order of the Cloud Serpent let me race him as an adolescent though.  Raising mounts is an awesome idea and it made me so attached to this one.  My pretty blue baby!

Red Flying Cloud:  Such a cool mount.  It's so different from anything else.  I feel like I'm surfing the air on a Ferrari!  It's so much fun to ride!

Headless Horseman's Mount:  Oh how this mount eluded me when my Warlock was my main.  On my hunter however it dropped the very first time.  It's the mustang of the mounts.  My fast agile sportscar.  That leaves neon green smoke trails behind.  Badass!

White Skeletal Warhorse:  My favorite "ride only" mounts.  This is another one that goes way back to my original main.  There's something so pure yet demonic about it.  I loved the contrast of a warlock on a pure white undead horse.  And it's just visually stunning.

Sapphire Panther: Loooove this fast and sleek mount.  It's not the most expensive of the Jewelcrafting mounts but it's my favorite.  And it looks so awesome in so many settings!

Phosphorescent Stone Drake:  I only decided to camp for Aeonaxx just to experience a long grueling camp.  Yes, that sounds as nuts to me as it does to you!  I didn't even think the mount was that special looking I just wanted the experience and to be able to say I did it.  I don't know if I just never got a close enough look or if over 300 hours of camp time simply makes the heart grow fonder.  Either way I now think this mount is beautiful and it's second only to the Ironbound.  My favorite color is purple and my boyfriend's favorite color is green so it's a perfect blend of the two.

Ironbound Protodrake:  Hands down this is my absolute favorite mount.  I wanted this mount for so long and one thing after another happened to deny me.  I finally got it last year in a pug and I was elated!!  It's as awesome as I thought it would be and more.  Protodrakes are the cadillacs of the mount world and this is the Escalade!  Even now I still can't believe it's mine!  Yes, I take way too many pictures of this guy.  But who can help it when he's so photogenic??

Errm...I just realized at the end of this post that I actually have 11 mounts.  Counting is hard.  But I love all of these mounts and picking them out of my 160+ mounts was hard enough.  No way I'm going back and trying to eliminate one.
